Queen’s Gate School is delighted to announce that the Board of Governors has confirmed the appointment of Mrs Lydia Kyle as the permanent Principal of Queen’s Gate School.
Mrs Kyle, who has been serving as Acting Principal, becomes the 10th Principal in Queen’s Gate’s 135-year history.
Mrs Reica Gray, Chair of the Board of Governors, said: “During her time as Acting Principal, Mrs Kyle has led the School with warmth, energy and a deep commitment to the values that make Queen’s Gate such a distinctive community. Her appointment provides both continuity and an exciting sense of momentum as the School looks to the future”.
Mrs Kyle said, “It is an enormous privilege to be appointed the 10th Principal of Queen’s Gate. This is a very special school, with a remarkable history and a wonderfully individual spirit. I am immensely proud of our pupils and staff, and excited about what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”
Mrs Kyle’s appointment comes at a particularly significant moment for Queen’s Gate as the School celebrates its 135th anniversary, providing an opportunity both to reflect on its proud history and to look ahead with confidence and ambition.
