Ms Gittens was appointed Director of Sixth Form at Queen’s Gate in September 2023. She brings extensive experience from the state sector, having previously held the roles of Head of Sixth Form and Head of Department for Business, Law and Economics, alongside over a decade of teaching across these subjects. In addition, she has worked as an examiner and spent three years lecturing in Law and Business at a further education college, where she also taught Business Law as an associate university lecturer. As a non-practising barrister she is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, reflecting her professional background in law. Ms Gittens breadth of experience across secondary, further and higher education underpins her commitment to academic excellence and effective sixth form leadership.
