The staff charity concert was a brilliant evening of music, laughter, and community spirit. With everything from classical gems to crowd-pleasing favourites, the staff performers really showed off their secret talents. Most importantly, it was a wonderful way to come together and raise money - thank you to everyone who took part and contributed!
Happy Chinese New Year – Year of the Horse! 🐴
Our school was buzzing with colour, creativity and celebration this week! From violin performances and lantern craft to painting Year of the Horse ornaments and finishing with dumpling-making, our girls fully embraced the traditions.
A special thank you to our wonderful parents who made these celebrations possible, and also to our staff for organising the activities and our catering team for the delicious Afternoon Tea.
Wishing everyone happiness, prosperity and good fortune in the year ahead! 🐴✨

Thank you to James Gordon-MacIntosh, QG parent and founder of prominent London-based creative consumer brand and lifestyle communications agency @hopeandglorypr, who gave a fascinating and inspiring talk as part our ‘Wider World’ series. He talked about the role of PR, its impact in shaping both consumer behaviour and public opinion. He also gave his tips on breaking into the industry and making contacts. Thank you James for such an inspiring talk! #QGLife #WiderWorld #girlsfutures
‘Ever since I joined this school in Year 7, I instantly knew this school was the one for me.’ - A place where older girls support younger ones, friendships grow, and every pupil feels known. Visit our website to find out more about our school.
Lawyer turned senior marketing and business leader Lamiya Boumlak led last week`s Wider World talk with advice for students on approaching their own careers. She discussed how she trained in law but moved into leading global marketing campaigns in the field of sport and entertainment (including launching a ski resort in the Middle Eastern desert!). Her practical advice included tips on how to land your dream job and navigating the hidden jobs market.
We`re obsessed with these `space age` photos from the Year 9 trip to the Science Museum to explore the Power Up exhibition, experiencing video games from early classics to modern titles and virtual reality!
At Queen’s Gate, we are ambitious for every girl. Within a nurturing, inclusive community where every pupil is known as an individual, we combine intellectual rigour with exceptional pastoral care - encouraging each girl to strive for excellence, celebrate her own progress and grow in confidence, character and compassion. We’re a greenhouse, not a hothouse: fostering achievement, wellbeing and opportunity, and educating the whole girl for success at school and beyond.
As University offers are now flooding in, we are so proud to celebrate another incredible year of offers for our QG girls
From Oxford, UCL and King’s College London to Edinburgh, Warwick, Bristol, Manchester - and even across the Atlantic to Carnegie Mellon, Pratt Institute (NY) and the University of Notre Dame - our students have secured places at some of the world’s leading universities and specialist art schools.
An amazing achievement by all and offers still coming in - we couldn’t be more proud!
