A Level Mathematics
A typical Advanced level Mathematics course at Queen’s Gate may comprise:
|AS||Core 1||Core 2||Statistics 1|
|A2||Core 3||Core 4||Statistics 2|
Further Mathematics is becoming a more popular option for those who are gifted in Mathematics. At Queen’s Gate School, pupils working towards the Advanced GCE in Further Mathematics are taught separately at A Level to allow for acceleration. There is some flexibility in terms of a student’s choice of modules as they progress through the course. Please refer to the quick link to the Edexcel website on our Mathematics subject page for further information.
A Level Mathematics pupils are encouraged to help with Maths Clinic lower down the school in order to build relationships with younger pupils. Trips and enrichment activities allow for further development.
