Official 125th Anniversary Logo by ARCH Design StudioIt was a fabulous challenge for the Queen’s Gate Seniors; put on the first-ever musical in the School’s 125 year history at a professional theatre in Bloomsbury. And my, didn’t they do it well!

On the 25 and 26 February the Drama and Music departments decamped to RADA’s Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre to perform George Furth and Stephen Sonheim’s Merrily We Roll Along.

A cast of 30 girls sang, danced and acted the complex story of Franklin Shepard, as we follow the famous film producer back in time, to find out where he came from, and how he got to the top.

Catchy songs such as That Frank, Opening Doors, Old Friends and Franklin Shepard Inc. were performed brilliantly by the Company and each individual should be extremely proud of what they achieved.

A huge well done to the Drama and Music departments for such a wonderful and unforgettable production.
