Inside the Archives: 125 Years of Queen’s Gate History

Step into the Queen’s Gate history books with this special one-off exhibition to celebrate 125 years of the School and the surrounding area of South Kensington. As well as many fascinating displays to explore, the event will feature speakers including TV historian, Kate Williams, and a special Queen’s Gate memories tree.

Doors open at 6.00pm and close at 9.00pm, and attendees are welcome to come and go as they please. Free refreshments will be served throughout the evening. 


Programme of talks

6.30pm: Hallie Rubenhold, London life in the 1890s

7.30pm: Caryl Harris, Behind closed doors: Quirky Queen’s Gate residents

8.30pm: Nia Webb, Queen’s Gate: An Unschooly School

It’s a little something for the history lover inside us all.


Tickets for this event are £10 for adults, and students can attend for free, though must be booked through our ticketing system.
