Senior School Admissions
Queen’s Gate is an independent day school offering an excellent all-round education to girls from 4 to 18. We are a relatively small School with just over 500 pupils, but one which is rich in tradition and at the same time abundant with the energy and spirit of the 21st century.
The main point of entry to the Senior School is at 11 and 16, but we are pleased to welcome pupils into other years of the School should places become available. Please click here for more information on the 11+ examination.
Our pupil body reflects London’s international diversity, a dimension which truly enhances and enriches our community. Our School is housed in five elegant Victorian buildings in Queen’s Gate, ideally situated to take advantage of the museums, galleries, theatres and other resources offered by a Central London education. Emphasis is also placed on courtesy and concern for others and girls are encouraged to take part in charitable work both in their local community and further afield, enabling them to become responsible citizens in a small school and a larger world.
We are delighted that you may be considering an application for your daughter to join the Queen’s Gate community. However, before proceeding, we would like to encourage you to view our prospectus also visit our School in order to experience for yourselves the warmth and quality of life at Queen’s Gate.
Parents are always welcome to visit the school and an appointment can be made to meet the Principal and tour the school by using the enquiry form or by contacting the Registrar on 020 7594 4982 or by email, for any other enquiries.
