We are extremely pleased to announce that Queen’s Gate has launched a brand new Digital Archive as part of the celebrations to mark the School’s 125th Anniversary in 2016.
Our Digital Archives contain hundreds of original documents and photographs from throughout the School’s history, with users able to search for items to view online. It showcases a complete collection of The Log, the Queen’s Gate annual School Magazine, first printed in 1902. An additional Photographic Archive has also been included.
This is the first exciting step on the road to making more of our School Archives accessible and, as further funding becomes available we would like to digitise more documents, as well as some of our wonderful videos from the collection! The Archive is a continual work in progress and we will add to it annually. Please check back the Digital Archives pages for news and updates.
Access to the Digital Archives is free for Queen’s Gate Old Girls, current students and parents, as well as members of staff.
