Every gift to Queen’s Gate is deeply appreciated. When you give to Queen’s Gate, you take your place in a long line of supporters who have helped to deliver the School’s vision for education since its founding in 1891.
Below, you will find information on the variety of ways to give.
Giving with Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax-payer, by using the Gift Aid scheme, we can reclaim £250 for every £1,000 you donate. If you are a higher-rate taxpayer (40%-45%), you yourself can also claim significant tax relief (between an additional £200 -£300 on every £1,000 you donate). To find out more, go to HMRC.
We are able to set up a standing order for regular support of the Foundation. Regular donations means that the School can plan ahead knowing that it can rely on a steady stream of charitable income and can plan long-term refurbishment and improvements.
Please contact the Bursar for more information on setting this up.
If you would like to make a single donation to Queen’s Gate by cheque, credit card or direct transfer, please contact the Bursar, who will be happy to send you a donation form.
Your donation can have a big impact on our current pupils or provide a boost to an on-going project.
Companies can claim corporation tax relief in their tax returns on all donations made to charities.

Recognising Your Gift
We are particularly keen to recognise the generosity of our donors publicly, so far as they would wish us to do so – we will, of course, comply with any requests for anonymity. The Annual Report will provide an opportunity to thank all our donors, and highlight the progress that the Foundation has made during that year. We will also recognise the contribution of donors to specific projects when those goals are realised.
At upper levels of giving, there are also opportunities for rooms, other aspects of the School’s fabric, and Bursaries to be named in accordance with the wishes of donors.
