Welcome to the Queen’s Gate Society page!
Originally we were the Queen’s Gate Old Girls’ Association, founded in November 1925 in the time of the legendary ‘Spee’ when the school was often known just as Miss Spalding’s . We were renamed in 2011, so that membership could embrace former staff, current parents and the parents of former pupils as well, but the purpose remains the same.
The Society exists to:
- Foster social and professional contact among members of all ages;
- Allow networking amongst ourselves;
- Host a range of events each year, both at school and at external venues;
- Support the work of the school today and in the future.
Membership is free, supported by the School and everyone who has studied or taught at the school is automatically a member.
We are in touch via e-communications and paper newsletters, endeavouring to keep you in touch with all the Queen’s Gate and Old Girl news.
