Time For Tea… And Dancing!

Posted on 14 June 2019 by Miss Emily Acton-Edmiston

This year’s annual Age UK Kensington and Chelsea Tea Dance took place on Thursday 13 June and was not short of upbeat tunes, lots of dancing and delicious food!

Residents from the local community, who enjoy Age UK Kensington and Chelsea lunches every Thursday during term time at the School, joined us in the Junior School Hall for afternoon tea, complete with songs by Carradine’s Cockney Sing-A-Long!

Our Sixth Form prefects served delicious homemade baked goods for guests to enjoy, along with plenty of tea before the dancing got into full swing. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a lovely time, with staff and pupils joining in for a boogie!

The afternoon whistled by, with old school crowd pleasers such as The Hokey Cokey getting everyone up on their feet! Once everyone was danced out, we bid farewell to our guests until next time.
