The World’s Biggest Coffee morning at Queen’s Gate!

Posted on 30 September 2016 by Miss Amy Hinds, Communications Officer

Each year both the Junior and Senior Schools join in for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. In the Junior School parents bring and sell a huge array of delights to attendees and pupils, and in the Senior School Prefects are in charge of collecting yummy treats to sell. The cakes over both schools ranged from sponges and brownies to apple swirls and cookies, there were pancakes on the menu to be purchased! III Form parent Mrs Fox even came armed with a huge cake adorned with the Queen’s Gate logo and six Junior School blazers!

The Senior School raised a fantastic £550 and the Juniors raised over £1,100! Well done everyone and thank you for your hard work!
