The Ritz gain a Guest Chef!

Queen’s Gate’s Head Chef, Clementina Osunde, was invited to cook at the one of the world’s best known hotels, The Ritz, on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 March. The Ritz Restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in October 2016 under the watchful eye of Executive Chef, John Williams MBE. John is passionate about using the best seasonal British ingredients, buying organic beef from the Cornish moors, lamb from the Lake District, and succulent lobsters from South West Scotland.

Clementina worked alongside John for the two days, creating special dishes on the A La Carte menu for the Dining Room including Navarin of Lamb with Turnip, Yoghurt and Aligot and Bresse Duck with Apricot, Walnut and Lavender.

Clementina also got some special Queen’s Gate visitors when Principal, Mrs Kamaryc, and Bursar, Mr Cubitt, arrived ready for their lunch and a tour of the famous Ritz kitchens. Congratulations to Clementina for being offered this honour, we know we’re lucky to have you!
