The Hills Are Alive!

Posted on 10 May 2019 by Miss Emily Acton-Edmiston

These are a few of my favourite things!

This week, girls from the upper end of the Junior School performed their annual play, at RADA Studios in Bloomsbury. The adaptation of the classic musical, The Sound of Music, was an uplifting production, with beautiful singing and acting from the IIA and III Form cast.

Favourites, such as Raindrops on Roses and Climb Every Mountain were performed against a clean and simple backdrop, showcasing the girls talent as well as the beautiful costumes, created by QG Parents Mrs Lenterman and Mrs Vila, even further.

The Von Trapp family children were a delightful ensemble, with their abundance of energy and brilliantly executed choreography throughout, as well as wonderful solo performances from Sophie Gorelli and Maria and Mother Abbess portrayed by Charlotte-Amicie Capelle.

Congratulations to the whole cast and crew for another superb production!
