Spring Term Round Up

Posted on 29 March 2018 by Miss Amy Hinds, Communications Officer

Spring Term has come and gone for another year, and 2018 hasn’t disappointed with events, academic highlights, sporting achievements and new initiatives throughout both the Junior and Senior Schools.

This year’s Science Week saw Science TV Presenter, Marty Jopson, Neuroscientist, Dr Guy Sutton, and Bubbleologist Steff, with girls throughout the School taking part in activities. The annual Swimming Galas saw record-breaking swims from girls, and this year’s Remove Showcase was a nautical-themed delight. Our Model United Nations pupils have shown their strengths this term, with delegations travelling to St Paul’s MUN and Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School MUN, chairing and debating over a number of complex subjects.

The Senior School performed wonderfully in Joan Littlewood’s production Oh What a Lovely War at Chelsea Theatre in March; and this year’s Upper Sixth organised a special Celebration Dinner showcasing their achievements during their Sixth Form careers.

We’re looking forward to Summer Term and the hope that better weather comes with it. Happy Easter to all and see you on Tuesday 17 April!
