Queen’s Gate join Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

As is now a solid tradition at Queen’s Gate, Friday 29 September saw both the Junior and Senior Schools take part in Macmillan Cancer Supports World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
In the Senior School, Sixth Formers collected and organised a cake sale – and there were some impressive bakes on offer for their peers to purchase. They raised a fantastic £841.05 for the charity.
In the Junior School, the PTA took to the helm, bringing with them more cakes than ever before – and during the morning sold their baking efforts to the girls and other parents and guests of the School, raising an impressive £1,221.90. The morning also included a ‘guess the height of the cake’, which was won by IIB’s Filippa Capoferro.
In total, Queen’s Gate will be donating £2062.95 to Macmillan – well done to everyone!
