Born To Run – QG Takes On The London Mini Marathon

On Sunday 28 April, five Queen’s Gate pupils ran in this year’s Virgin London Mini Marathon, representing the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The Mini London Marathon is the official British Athletics three-mile road championship for young athletes aged between 11 and 17. Previous winners of the Mini London Marathon and Mini Wheelchair Marathon include four-time Olympic Games gold medallist Mo Farah, and competitors from the London 2012 Paralympics – silver medallist Shelly Woods and David Weir, winner of four Paralympic gold medals.

A huge well done to U13 Chloe, U15s Lara, Isla and Tess and U17 Sabrina for their excellent Sunday running efforts! Special congratulations go to sisters Lara and Sabrina, who came 17th and 26th respectively!
