A Magical Movie Night

Posted on 3 July 2017 by Miss Amy Hinds, Communications Officer

An exciting, and magical, collaboration between Queen’s Gate, Royal Trinity Hospice and Chestertons Estate Agents took place on the evening of Friday 30 June, with an outdoor cinema experience open for the Queen’s Gate Community to enjoy and to raise money for the Hospice’s vital work.

Current and former pupils and parents, as well governors, staff and friends of the School were treated to a showing of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone under the moonlit sky of the Hospice’s grounds in Clapham Common, with popcorn, candy floss, pic ‘n’ mix and drinks aplenty on offer before the film began. An extra special treat was also in store when guests were treated to a Q&A with Old Girl, and Lily Potter actress, Geraldine Somerville, who answered questions about her Queen’s Gate career, as well as her acting success and the number of pets she has!

The evening was enjoyed by all, and we await the final amount raised later this week to be given to the Royal Trinity Hospice.
