At Queen's Gate we believe in the importance of working in close partnership with parents as this is in the best interests of the pupil. The new year in September begins with Welcome Meetings for parents to meet the new form teacher and to hear about the curriculum for the coming year.  Parents receive full, detailed reports twice a year and are invited to attend consultation meetings with Form Teachers at other times during the academic year.  The PTA provides a forum in which matters of  general interest can be discussed; it also helps to build a support network for parents of new girls joining the school. 

Each form sends two representatives to the termly committee meetings, which are  attended by all members of the Junior school staff.  The PTA also fundraises for the school, the major event of the year being the annual Christmas Fair run by both the Junior and Senior PTAs. Other events include the annual quiz held in the spring term.  

The school very much appreciates and benefits from the support of the PTA.
