Our excellent location enables us to take advantage of all that London has to offer in terms of museums, art galleries, theatres and places of interest. We make regular visits to the Science Museum, the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, Leighton House and Holland Park.
We also like to travel out of London to destinations such as Highclere Castle, Juniper Hall and the Discovery Centre.
Residential trips are important for both educational reasons and personal and social development. In Year 4, girls visit New Barn in Dorset, which enriches their understanding of Anglo-Saxon history, and Year 5 spend a week on the Isle of Wight, reinforcing their geology and biology knowledge and preparing for Victorian study in Year 6 by visiting Osbourne House.
In Year 6 pupils spend five days in France, where, among other activities, they spend time at a French School, enhancing their learning of the subject.
