Inspiring Women 2018/2019 : Kate Pakenham

Monday 1 April @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

| £5 – £10

Theatre and TV producer, Kate Pakenham, is next up in our Inspiring Women series. Kate will be speaking about her career in production; both theatrical and televised.

This spring, Kate launches her independent production company, by bringing Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s terrific play Emilia to the West End. Having recently stepped down as Executive Producer of the Donmar Warehouse in London, where she produced 40 productions. She also produced Phyllida Lloyd’s ground-breaking, all-female Shakespeare Trilogy for stage and screen. These productions were developed and performed in prisons and schools, and transferred to St Ann’s Warehouse in New York.

Prior to the Donmar, Kate worked at The Old Vic Theatre for 11 years, where she set up and ran Old Vic New Voices a project which supports emerging writers, actors and directors. She also produced The Old Vic’s annual fundraiser, The 24 Hour Plays.

Do join us to hear Kate’s story, and for the chance to ask her questions.
