When there was a change in the Queen’s Gate PE kit, Louise Li (former Chair of the Junior School PTA) thought that PE uniforms could be used by the children of Phdau Penh, Oral, Jaw and Ou Kontrom orphanages in Cambodia.

Sarah, Rebekah and Eliana Nutland said “The uniforms were shared out between about 100 children in four different orphan homes, and created many huge smiles upon delivery! The children were so happy to receive their new clothes and learn that people around the world are thinking about them. It was fun for us to see some old friends’ names stitched into the labels as we gave them out!”
The Nutland and Li families would like to thank all the families at Queen’s Gate who donated their daughter’s PE kit to the children of the FCOPI homes. We would like to continue to support the work of these invaluable orphanages so they can become more self sufficient. If you have any unwanted clothes, or can offer other support, please contact Louise Li via the Queen’s Gate School Parent Portal.
